Four-foot T8 LED tubes at 15W and 17W delivering up to 2,200 lumens, in fixed 4000K cool white and 5000K daylight, with a selectable model offering five colour temperatures from one tube.
Type A+B compatibility is the specification that decides the install: Type A runs on the existing ballast, Type B is direct-wired, and A+B does either. Stating it prevents the most expensive error in the category — a tube that will not light because the ballast was never bypassed.
Shop, garage, basement and light-commercial retrofit all pull from here, usually replacing fluorescent. Fluorescent tubes remain stocked in fluorescent T8 for buyers not yet converting.
