Extension cords built out as a grid by duty and by length. Indoor runs light duty 16/2 SPT-2 and medium duty grounded 16/3 from 1.5 to 4.5 metres, with dedicated 14/3 SPT-3 air conditioner cords in the same lengths and foot switch models in white, black and green. Outdoor runs 16/3 SJTW from 3 to 30 metres in medium duty orange, contractor yellow and heavy duty red and black. A four foot 16/3 dishwasher cord covers the appliance connection.
Gauge, length, jacket type and outlet count are published per SKU. Gauge against length is the specification that decides the sale — a long run on light gauge drops voltage and heats — which is why the range is laid out as a grid rather than as a single value line.
