The Anderson is a black shovel measuring 49 × 13 cm — hearth-scale, with a blade narrow enough to work between andirons and along the firebox walls. It clears ash, lifts embers aside and keeps the fireplace floor workable, and the black finish keeps it presentable hanging on a tool stand.
