It's engineered for downward light distribution that lights the area below while avoiding wasteful uplight and wall glare. A built-in photocell delivers automatic dusk-to-dawn operation — on at dusk, off at dawn, with no switching. A universal 100–277V input allows flexible residential and commercial installation, and the integrated LED is rated for roughly 45 years at 3 hours a day — no bulb to replace.
